Back to basics....

Hello there! I kn ow it's been awhile and no, I'm not abandoning my blog, I've just had more important things to do... Also I've had some MAJOR computer issues lately... Anyhow, this is what's going on in my little simming world...


Not much....

Lol, no really, I have been playing but was forced to go back to basics because of my computer issues, I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it tho!! I had never played just the base game before, when I first got the game I got it with Ambitions and just installed both so I never truly played it simple... I'm even playing the premades rather then my own simmy! I did break down and install Generations a couple of days ago but still no CC or mods, just the vanilla game. Given the ugly townies are starting to irritate me I'm still not gonna cave back into a non- vanilla game just yet, I'm having to much fun! It's nice to play a smooth game with very few tiny glitches again....

Right now I'm playing Pauline Wan, she married Peter Lanegrak (or however you spell it) and had the ugliest little girl, they have another on the way... I would post pics but I honestly haven't even been into pics lately, I'm just enjoying the game play.... Let's see how it goes, maybe I'll have something interesting to post later...

Ok, I'm done with my useless little post her but I have one question for you.... When was the last time you played the base, vanilla game?

It wasn't broken!!

Seriously? I hate the way all these web sites are changing everything up every 5 minutes!! Grrr, I'm so lost every where I go!!! If it's not broke then don't fix it people!!! Mini rant over...

So hello there! I know I've been MIA for awhile now, mostly just here and a few simmy sites, I've been just busy with life and some life changes have occurred... For starters I have a new job and I'm still adjusting to this whole "work" think lol. I also have been doing very well with Swagbucks and am totally addicted to it! Free stuff gets me every time! Another thing keeping me busy is that I'm actually PLAYING my game, I find that I really enjoy Showtime (SHT for short)!! And yep, got it for free!

Well, this was just a quick post to let you all know that I'm still alive... Hope to start posting more again soon, I miss my little blog! I will leave you with a message that means a lot to me, see you soon!

Well hello world!

Yes, I know I've been MIA for a little while... I had some things to deal with in real life that kept me away from my computer and my simmies but it's all back to normal now and I can get back in the groove of things... Hope you've all been wonderful!

Another thing that has kept me away is that I discovered Swagbucks! It's awesome!! Basically it's a market research site that allows you to earn points (or swagbucks) you can use towards prizes, including cold hard cash! There are so many ways to earn points and I'm completely addicted!! I decided to give it a try because they carry EA game cards sop I thought maybe I would earn a few free simpoints but it's way better then that! In 2 weeks I earned enough to get Showtime for free!! Yes FREE!! I know what you're all thinking and I was super skeptical myself because I have tried any f these type of things just to end up frustrated and annoyed so I quit every single one of them but this is really different and it works,! Ok now I sound like a sales person lol but I really am excited about it so I wanted to share. It's up to you if you want to try or not and if you do I am willinmg to help all I can, just let me know! Seriously, it's not her...

This makes me laugh so much! I can't believe people actually think they are talking to Kay Perry! I mean I can understand how the youngest simmers might believe it's her but most know that it's just a gimmick... Just shows that this ad campaign and Showtime gimmick is working for some anyway...

Not to be a party pooper or spoil anyone's fun but it's just so obviously a commercial gimmick! Like Katy Perry would even have the time to play much less chat on the forums... Just cracks me up!

The day the daydream dies...

RIP Davy Jones... Most of you are probably to young to remember but I'm sure you are familiar with at least the one song from the Shrek movies... The Monkeys were the epitome of Pop Culture and their influence in music as well as television still shows today... For those of us that do remember February 29, 2012, will be remembered as the day the daydream died.....

(Just for the record I'm not old enough to actually remember The Monkeys as they were on the air but I loved them in re- runs and their music, they were a big part of my childhood...)
