Seriously, it's not her...

This makes me laugh so much! I can't believe people actually think they are talking to Kay Perry! I mean I can understand how the youngest simmers might believe it's her but most know that it's just a gimmick... Just shows that this ad campaign and Showtime gimmick is working for some anyway...

Not to be a party pooper or spoil anyone's fun but it's just so obviously a commercial gimmick! Like Katy Perry would even have the time to play much less chat on the forums... Just cracks me up!

The day the daydream dies...

RIP Davy Jones... Most of you are probably to young to remember but I'm sure you are familiar with at least the one song from the Shrek movies... The Monkeys were the epitome of Pop Culture and their influence in music as well as television still shows today... For those of us that do remember February 29, 2012, will be remembered as the day the daydream died.....

(Just for the record I'm not old enough to actually remember The Monkeys as they were on the air but I loved them in re- runs and their music, they were a big part of my childhood...)

My thoughts on the new Sim pages...

I think I am in the minority but I rather like it, sure it needs some work but it's kinda fun having a new way to communicate instantly... I also like that new uploads are seen by everyone, that is kind of the point to the exchange after all. Most of us have friends on our list we never talk to and don't even get why we had a friend system in the first place so this gives us all a chance to get to know each other a little better which in turn let's us know who we want to keep and actually talk to, if you're a social person like me then this is a big bonus! Now if you're a paranoid ani- socialist then this could be very disturbing and why are you playing a social game in the first place? Those of you that are should probably not visit the site anyway lol... You know, just like any other PUBLIC site if you don't want people to see what you have to say then don't post it in PUBLIC to begin with!!

What I don't like is that we can no longer customize our page and there is some security risks that need to be addressed... I also feel like it makes the forums rather pointless now since everything can be discussed right from our pages, and this showed almost immediately after the update, within minutes the forums went quiet except for the complaint threads of course, those will always be on the first page of the forums... I'm sure EA is not done yet though and I do expect some more changes in the near future...

 I find it funny that the first thing so many simmers did was complain about the new commenting system using the new commenting system, irony at it's best! Posts like "I refuse to use this system!" look stupid when posted using the system lol... In the end I feel most people will get used to the whole thing and end up not only using it but enjoying it, I'm seeing evidence of this already, won't take long until most give in and go with it just like most changes... People are naturally resistant to change so it makes perfect since that there's so much negativity now, I give it 2 weeks tops and either people give in or leave and either way is fine, it is your personal choice after all....

Luna Skye...

I've decided I do like fantasy sims... No, not so much berry sims (in my mind anyway) but fantasy, like witches, vamps, winged sims and now aliens lol...

Here is my version of an alien princess... She seems a bit camera shy so it was hard to get a really good pic of her... Her traits are, brave, eco- friendly, eccentric, artistic and perceptive...  Favorite color is aqua, food is I don't remember lol and she likes classical music... She's a peaceful alien but she will do what's necessary for her people...

All CC checked and appears safe but you know how it is ( I keep my game very clean so I know she is perfectly safe)... You can download her HERE , please give a rec even if you don't want her... Thanks!

So I got really, really bored....

Okay this is just purely a stupid I am bored out of my mind post... I was lurking the forums for awhile today (a couple of hours, no wonder I'm so bored) and I decided to give myself a personal bored challenge... To see if I could make it to the front page as a last poster in any section of the officials and well I succeeded!

Stories and legacies! Lol, see? I told you I was really, really bored...

I'm Back!!

Wow! Seems like forever! I don't even know where to start lol...

I guess I start with the biggest news of the year for me... My beautiful daughter snuck into Vegas and ...

GOT MARRIED!!!! 

I am so in shock but extremely happy for my little girl! I'm am just so proud of her I could just burst! All I ask is that I am not made a Grandma anytime soon lol... Congratulations Reesie, I love you!!!!
                      

On that romantic note, I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Even for those of you that are single, you deserve to treat yourself special for the day and I hope you did!

Next, looks like something really awesome happened in the Simiverse... Sesert has been taken down! Woo Hoo! A BIG THANK YOU from me to Angelic Evil and Bluebell Flora and everyone else that helped take out the trash! It's so nice knowing I can now lurk the officials without having to keep a bottle of bleach handy for my eyes lol... An amazing job very well done!

Staycation!
